Content
You familiarize yourself with the theories and concepts of the following areas of psychology and apply them to organizational functions and different roles (customer, customer service representative, subordinate, supervisor):
- Personality Psychology
- Work and Organizational Psychology
- Positive Psychology
The course is part of the business psychology study module, which has been developed as part of the EU co-funded Mastering Business Psychology project.
Location and time
In a non-stop online course, you study at your own pace.
Materials
Materials available in the online learning environment:
- Initial task
- Theory and its practical application examples
- Video lecture
- “Test Your Knowledge” quizzes
- Section exams
- Final exam
- Final task
Other learning materials, such as literature, articles, videos, websites, etc., will be announced in the online learning environment (Reppu). In addition, you can study the core textbooks of the psychology topics selected for the course, for example, by using e-books of your choice.
Teaching methods
Independent online study, with mandatory assignments including an initial task, section exams, a final exam, and a final task.
Employer connections
Applying the selected areas of psychology to business operations and the roles of those working within them.
Exam schedules
You can choose the timing for completing the mandatory assignments, i.e., the starter task, section exams, final exam, and final assignment. You may retake the section exams and the final exam 24 hours after your previous attempt.
Student workload
The course requires 81 hours of student work.
Qualifications
Does not require prior studies. The course is best taken after completing the basic studies at KAMK, during the spring semester of the second year.
