The student:
Can identify the need for palliative care or end-of-life care for a patient.
Can create an end-of-life care plan in collaboration with the patient, their loved ones, the attending physician, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Can implement symptomatic and humane palliative care and end-of-life care.
Can encounter and care for a dying patient and support their loved ones.
Can use various methods to support the psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patient and their loved ones.

Recognizes the need for palliative care and end-of-life care.
Knows the symptom management for the most common symptoms of palliative and end-of-life care patients.
Knows the methods of psychosocial and existential support and their importance in nursing.
Knows the signs of approaching death.
Understands the importance of respectful encounters in nursing.

Fail.
The student:
