Content

The course is part of the European JA Company Program, and similar courses are offered in various European countries. In Finland, the Year of the Entrepreneur is a joint programme of higher education institutions, managed by Youth Entrepreneurship and Economy NYT.

JA Company Program in Higher Education is a programme in which students set up a real money NYT company for the duration of their studies. The business provides an opportunity to put working life skills into practice through their own business and gives students an insight into what it is like to work in their own or a small business. The course also provides an opportunity to network with other NYT students.

The strengths of the course are based on working together. You do not need to have a ready-made business idea. The most important thing is the willingness and enthusiasm to create something new and learn by doing.

Students form teams and set up a business in teams. The company operates in a real market, offering products or services to customers. It can last for one calendar year. This course provides an excellent platform for testing your own ideas and developing the skills needed in business.
