Objective

The students will gain practical knowledge of foreign trade procedures. They will be proficient in import and export customs functions and can negotiate terms of delivery and payment.

The students are able to define and use import and export concepts according to professional ethical principles. They have sufficient knowledge to begin foreign trade and to internationalise their operations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to describe and justify procedures associated with starting up foreign trade. They are able to work independently based on their knowledge and instructions and can apply export and import techniques and models. The students are able to work independently to achieve their objectives and can justify their work according to professional ethical principles. The students are able to assess the compatibility of the different parts of a business idea and a selected strategy.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to analyse, compare and critically assess the implementation and actions of foreign trade and internationalisation based on their acquired knowledge.
