-can communicate adequately in writing and speaking
-pronounces poorly which makes understanding difficult
-reacts slowly and even inappropriately
-understands texts only to a limited extent
-makes several structural mistakes and uses few business phrases

The student
-can communicate appropriately
-pronounces sufficiently well
-reacts appropriately though more slowly
-understands the main contents of a text and can analyse it to some extent
-uses fewer business phrases and makes occasional mistakes

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
-can communicate fluently in writing and rather fluently in speaking
-pronounces intelligibly
-reacts appropriately and quickly
-understands the main contents and details of a text and can analyse it.
-speaks appropriately using the right structures and business phrases
