Objective

The students will develop their written communication skills as a part of their professional competence. They will be able to compile clear and well-organised text for the thesis. They will examine and be familiar with the principles of research communication and can apply this knowledge to their theses.

Pass:
The students' texts are written in accordance to academic style and the main rules required of accurate writing.
The students know the organisations text format and abide with these formats.
The students are able to differentiate between their own thinking and that expressed in source material and can use source texts concerning their own field of study critically and in a variety of ways in their own texts. They are able to combine the thoughts expressed in the source material with their own to form a stylistically cohesive and complete text.
The students understand the significance of language in creating and strengthening their own professional identity and are able to use language in their own professional sphere.
