Objective

Students will have wide knowledge of the operations of a manufacturing company and how the production processes are managed. The course also provides students with skills required in planning and implementing economically viable production processes.

The students understand professional concepts and know basic production management methods and technologies. They are able to perceive the position of production planning in a company's operations.

The students are able to use basic production management methods and technologies for modular planning, as well as rough and fine planning.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students possess a comprehensive understanding of the function of production planning as a part of a company's operational planning and implementing production within a wider logistics network.
