Objective
The students know the principles of patient transfer and mobility assistance and can carry out patient transfers taking into account their patients’ physical resources. The students recognize the risks associated with assisting the patient in their work and are able to apply safe transfer methods using the most common patient transfer aids. The students know and recognize the physical workload of nursing and understand
the importance of ergonomics in promoting work flow and safety.
