Objective

The students will be able to support and promote the well-being and health of families with children at different life stages. They will be able to understand how pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium (the period after childbirth) progresses and is monitored in normal cases. The students will be able to assess the health problems and risks associated with children and youth and can plan, implement and evaluate the care of children and adolescents in accordance with the nursing process. The students will be able to support the physical and mental capabilities and inclusion of the mentally and physically handicapped. The students will be able to apply nursing interventions safely, and in a needs-based manner in the care of gynaecological patients.

Teaching methods

Suomeksi
Perheen hoitotyö kokonaisuus koostuu hoitotyön osuudesta, lääketieteen osuudesta ja sosiaalityön osuudesta. Viitekehys perheen hoitotyön kokonaisuuteen muodostuu yliopettaja Anitta Juntunsen instruktioluennoista devMoodlessa.

Hoitotyön osuudessa opetusmenetelminä ovat mm opetuskeskustelut, harjoitukset ja simulaatio.Lääketieteen osuus on verkko-opintototeutus skholessa. Kehitysvammaisuus opinnot suoritetaan verkko-opintoina.

Employer connections

Hyväksytty perheen hoitotyö -opintokokonaisuuden lääkelaskukokeen suoritus ( n 1 kk ennen harjoittelun alkamista ) on harjoittelun aloittamisen edeltävyysehto.

Lääkehoito ja farmakologia -opintojakson lääkehoitotentti ja lääkelaskutenttti tulee olla hyväksytysti suoritettu ennen harjoittelun aloittamista. Myös nämä lääkehoidon opintojen suoritukset tulee olla hyväksytysti suoritettu n 1 kk ennen harjoittelua.

Kliinistä harjoittelua voi suorittaa myös työtä opinnollistaen ( sh - sijaisuus ).

Lääkelaskujen tarkistus tentin jälkeen.

Äitiyshuolto ja nt ht ( 2 op) osuudesta hoitotyön suoritus pohjautuu kurssikirjasta:
luku 1 Naisen terveys, luku 2 Naisen hedelmällisyys pois lukien tahaton lapsettomuus, luku 3 Naisen sairaudet, pois lukien naisten seksuaaliset toimintahäiriöt, luku 4 ei ole tenttialuetta, luku 5 Nainen äitinä pois lukien seksuaalisuus raskauden aikana ja synnytyksen jälkeen sekä devMoodle materiaali ja raskauden keskeytyksen Käypähoitosuositus.

Lasten ja nuorten ht (3op) osuudesta hoitotyön suoritus pohjautuu kurssikirjasta: luku 2 Lapsen psykomotorinen kehitys eri ikäkausina; Luku 3 Lapsen ja nuoren terveyden edistäminen; Luku 4 Lapsen ja nuoren kasvun ja kehityksen poikkeamat ; Luku 6 Leikki lapsen kehityksen tukena; Luku 11 Vitaalitoiminnot ja niiden seuranta; Luku 12 Lapsen kivun hoito ; Luku 13 Neste- ja lääkehoito Luku 14 Lapsen ja perheen ohjaaminen hoitotyössä ; Luku 16 Lasten taudit: Kuume, Infektiota sairastavan lapsen hoitotyö, Ummetus, Verenkiertoelimistön sairaudet, Syöpää sairastavan lapsen hoitotyö, Diabeetestä sairastavan lapsen hoitotyö, Allergia ja astma, Lasten kirurgia, Lapsi ja kuolema.
Lisäksi devMoodlen materiaali lasten ja nuorten hoitotyöstä.

*Tentti äitiyshuolto /nt hoitotyön osuus ja lasten/ nuorten hoitotyön osuudesta 18.11.2021 klo.16.30-19.30. Tentti on yksilötentti moodlessa. Tarkemmat ohjeet löytyvät moodlessa kurssin kohdalla. 1. uusintatentti 7.12.2021 ja 2. uusinta 20.1.2022. Uusinnat ovat yksilötenttejä KAMK iltatenttinä. Huom! Covid-19 pandemia voi muuttaa 1. suorituksen muotoa, jos olemme etätoteutuksessa.

*Lasten ja nuorten mielenterveys 1 op . Suorituksiin sisältyy ennakkotehtävä ja kirjallinen/kirjallisia tehtäviä. Arviointi hyväksytty - hylätty

Skhole tentit 1 op:
Skhole tentit ovat kaikki auki 28.9 klo.16.00 - 31.11.21 klo.16.00 välisenä aikana.

Kunkin kokeen voi uusia tuona aikana kaksi kertaa niin, että suoritusten välillä tulee olla 4 tuntia. Läpimenoraja on 70%. Tämän jälkeen suorittaminen alemman ryhmän mukana keväällä 2022.
Skhole koealueina ovat seuraavat neljä kurssia Skholessa:
-lastentaudit ( sisältää 14 luentoa , 3h15min) / Lastentaudit SMM20K ja koekoodi moodlessa.
-naistentaudit ( sisältää 9 luentoa, 2h31min) / Naistentaudit SMM20K ja koekoodi moodlessa.
-raskaus ja synnytys ( sisältää 16 luentoa, 4h1min) / Raskaus ja synnytys SMM20K ja koekoodi moodlessa.
-lasten psykiatria ( sisältää 7luentoa, 1h 39 m ) / Lastenpsykiatria SMM20K ja koekoodi moodlessa.
Skhole/ Lääketieteen erikoisalat integroituvat hoitotyön opintoihin.

* Kehitysvammaisuus 2 op suoritetaan devmoodlessa 10.9.-28.11.2021 välisenä aikana itsenäisenä opiskeluna. Oppimispäiväkirja palautettava 28.11. 2021 mennessä devmoodleen. .

Ensimmäisellä tapaamiskerralla sovitaan 10 op:een kokonaisuuden arvosanan muodostuminen. Ks myös kohta "Arviointi".

Completion alternatives

AHOTT mahdollisuus tulee keskustella aina kunkin osuuden ( äitityshuolto ja nt ht, lasten ja nuorten ht, lasten ja nuorten mt, kehitysvammaisuus, perhetyö ja lastensuojelu) asiantuntijaopettajan kanssa.

Opintojen opinnollistaminen keskustellaan myös asiantuntijaopettajan kanssa.

Student workload

1op =27 opiskelijan työtuntia.
Harjoituksissa ja simulaatiossa on 100% läsnäolo. Poissaolo korvataan joko oman ryhmän toisen pienryhmän mukana tai ns alemman ryhmän ( SHS20S) mukana.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to define the principles of family nursing and can name the key producers of social and basic healthcare and specialist hospital care for families with children and can explain what forms of social services and benefits are available to families at different life stages.
The students are able to name the different stages of growth and development of children of different ages, and the impacts of pregnancy on women and their families and development tasks.
The students are able to describe the care paths of an ill child, adolescent, a pregnant woman and gynaecological patients as well as being able to name the interventions used.
They are able to describe how to assist births that occur out of hospital.
The students are able to describe the most common paediatric diseases and gynaecological diseases at different stages of life and the most common complications in pregnancy.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to use and apply the principles of family nursing in providing health promotion instruction to families in different life situations.
The students are able to select safe, health promoting nursing interventions to treat the most common paediatric and gynaecological diseases, as well as when administering care and nursing cases of complications during pregnancy.
They are able to explain the duties of the nurse and describe the nursing protocol for births that occur out of hospital.
The students are able to explain the key concepts of sexual and reproductive health from a multidisciplinary perspective.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to compare and analyse how important the principles of family nursing are in promoting the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families and in treating illness.
They can compare and analyse the impact of pregnancy on the life of women and their families and can apply knowledge of the developments that occur among men and women during pregnancy when administering care.
The students are able to apply knowledge of the most common gynecological diseases when administering care to women at different stages of life.
They are able to apply knowledge of births that occur out of hospital when administering care in a case of sudden childbirth.
