Objective

Students will be proficient in the professional vocabulary of nursing and in speaking and writing for nursing related communication and interaction situations.

The students are able to use other words to explain a topic and compensate imperceptibly for a lack of vocabulary. They understand and skillfully and accurately use the vocabulary of their own field and the terminology of their specialist field. They are able to talk fluently and comprehensively about their education, practical training, work experience and skills. They are able to communicate fluently in typical work-related situations (e.g. reporting, care meetings, instructing patients, telephone conversations, emails, CV).

If necessary, students can express something in other words. They understand and use the vocabulary of their own field fairly accurately. They are able to talk fairly fluently about their education, practical training, work experience and competence. They are able to communicate fairly clearly in typical work related situations (e.g. reporting, instructing patients, telephone conversations, emails, CV).

Students are able to use the basic vocabulary of their field so that the basic message can be understood. They can talk briefly about their education, practical training and work experience and for the most part, they can be understood. They are able to communicate simply in typical work related situations (e.g. reporting, instructing patients, telephone conversations, emails, CV).
