Objective
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to new technologies, business opportunities created by them and to learn the terminology and history of new technologies. The student is able to apply new technologies in his / her field of study and to recognize their special features. Students will get an overview of the current state of technology and future opportunities.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to critically analyse use cases for new technologies and develop creative new business ideas. The innovation project has been developed with care and is backed by research, showcasing a creative use of new technology. The student has participated actively in the course workshop lectures.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student understands the working principles of different new technologies and the changes they have caused in the business world and our social environment. The innovation project is based on already existing development and has been reasonably justified. The student has participated in the course workshop lectures.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to explain different new technologies as a concept and to find existing use cases for them. The innovation project is a report of an existing technology concept. The student has occasionally participated in the course workshop lectures.
