Objective

This course provides in depth knowledge of maintenance concepts and specific engineering skills to ensure the functioning of equipment and structures and their economic and long-term use.

The students are able to use a professional concepts systematically and to work on individual tasks according to the commission. They are aware of the significance of maintenance in industrial operations and know the special techniques for ensuring the uninterrupted operations and long working life in an industrial plant.

The students are able to use a wide range of professional concepts fluently and to work on different tasks in various operational environments. They are able to analyse the operations of technical systems from a maintenance perspective.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to use professional concepts with expertise and can apply their professional competence as required in different situations. They are able to develop maintenance functions in different operational environments.
