Objective
The students will be able to describe the practices of green care (customer groups) and can explain and analyse the key concepts, terms, basic elements and requirements of green care. They will recognize the importance of nature, green environments, gardening activities, animals and farms to human health and wellbeing. They will understand how and why they affect people. The students will understand the difference between nature nurture and strength and give examples of Green Care customer oriented green care methods and models that have been implemented in practice and which take customers’ wellbeing objectives, the responsibility of various practitioners, laws, safety, quality and sustainable development, e.g. animal welfare, into account.
