Objective

The students will be able to support and promote the well-being and health of families with children at different life stages. They will be able to understand how pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium (the period after childbirth) progresses and is monitored in normal cases. The students will be able to assess the health problems and risks associated with children and youth and can plan, implement and evaluate the care of children and adolescents in accordance with the nursing process. The students will be able to support the physical and mental capabilities and inclusion of the mentally and physically handicapped. The students will be able to apply nursing interventions safely, and in a needs-based manner in the care of gynaecological patients.

Content

Family Nursing Care Practical Training 5 cr + 5 cr in projects > includes simulations

5 credits of the practical training can be accomplished by working in a project or projects.
