Objective

PART 1 (3 cr)
The students will be able to describe the principles of research and development projects, various research and development processes.
The students will master the basics of quantitative and qualitative research and can apply them in practice.
They will understand the importance of research and development in the development of professional competence.
They will be able to identify and utilize the region's opportunities for innovative, multidisciplinary creation of working life connections in cooperation networks through multidisciplinary projects.
The students will be able to develop activities that support the organization's strategy based on evidence.

PART 2 (2 cr)
The students will develop their written communication skills and they will understand the importance of written communication in becoming a specialist in their field.
They will be proficient in information retrieval from the most common databases.
They can read and critically evaluate scientific publications.

Research and development principles, qualitative research process, quantitative research process, productization process, literature review, analysis and interpretation of research material
