Through this course, you will understand the importance of sleep for well-being and your ability to study and work. The course utilizes various independent study methods that promote learning the course material.

Teaching methods

The Multidisciplinary Approach to Sleep and Recovery course explores why sleep and recovery are important to us. It will help you understand the different stages of sleep and the importance of sleep and recovery for well-being, study and work. The course will also look at what you can do to promote your own sleep and recovery. The course uses different methods of independent study, which promote learning of the subjects to be studied.

Student workload

The scope of the course is 2 credits. This means that you will need to allocate approximately 54 hours (2 x 27 hours). The course requires the study of teaching materials (e.g. videos, articles, etc.), their reading and the completion of learning tasks (e.g. tests, reflection exercises, etc.).
