Cross Studies

Cross-institutional studies give higher education students the opportunity to complete studies at another higher education institution.

KAMK participates in several Cross-institutional study networks that open up diverse learning opportunities. The networks are often field-specific, so students from different degree programmes are offered a variety of different study contents. Please note that Bachelor’s degree students may only select Bachelor-level studies, while Master’s degree students may only select Master-level studies.

KAMK’s study administration system, Peppi, includes the Cross-Institutional Study Service gateway (RIPA), through which we publish study offerings open to all students of Finnish higher education institutions. If your home institution uses the Cross-institutional gateway (RIPA) and is part of the same network as KAMK, you can enroll for KAMK’s Cross-institutional studies directly through your own institution’s Peppi or Sisu system. Grades from completed courses will also be transferred automatically via the Cross-Institutional Study Service gateway (RIPA) to the student’s personal study register without a separate credit transfer process. Before enrolling to the courses, confirm with your degree programme that the studies you choose can be included to your your degree studies.

Take advantage of flexible study opportunities and broaden your expertise by making use of the offerings from other higher education institutions as well!
