Students will be conversant with CAD software in 2 dimensional design and the opportunities of computer aided design.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to use a wide range of CAD tools for 2D design with expertise and can select and critically assess alternative CAD techniques. They are able to work as part of a team, promoting the team's activities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to name and describe the basic functions and drawing tools of CAD for 2D design and can apply them as required and justify how they conduct design tasks in different situations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to use the basic functions of CAD for 2D design, utilising 2D design techniques as required by their work and are able to work as part of a team taking others into consideration.
