Objective
The students will be able to identify occupational well-being and occupational capability related work as belonging to well being tourism. Students will know how different forms of well-being exercise are practiced and its impacts and special features. They will be able to apply different forms of exercise and sports in the promotion of a person's holistic well-being while understanding their therapeutic significance. They will be able to plan, implement and instruct low threshold well-being sports. Students will know how to guide and instruct customers in the use of Finnish technology as part of well-being services.
Content
Occupational well-being and occupational capability tourism
Well-being sports practice, impacts and special features (e.g. deep gym and stretching, yoga, chiball, relaxation techniques, therapeutic dance, Asahi, kettle-bell, dance for seniors).

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students are able to use forms of well-being exercise and sports extensively and with expertise in professional situations and as a part of work promoting occupational well-being and capability. They are able to analyse, compare and use them with different target groups. They apply what they have learnt with previously acquired knowledge with an innovative approach to sports technology and current trends in forms of well-being exercise and sports. They know how to combine and select information and can present and justify alternative procedures. They have mastered a customer-oriented way of working and can choose the right methods and drills suited to different levels of competence taking into account overall objectives. They are able to work independently, responsibly and with a positive attitude towards learning.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to define how work promoting occupational well-being and capability is linked to well-being tourism. The students have mastered the basic practical techniques of a well-being sport or activity. They are able to give reasons for the impacts of (practicing) well-being activities and forms of treatment that produce well-being. They are able to combine new knowledge with previous knowledge. The students are able to assess their owe competence and can supplement it systematically with specific objectives in mind. They work naturally in customer service situations and as team members. They use a professional approach when instructing others.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to identify the main elements of work promoting occupational well-being and capability in well being tourism. The students are able to name and describe several well-being exercise types and sports and the effects of practicing such sports. They recognize forms of treatment that produce well-being. They are able to search for information on forms of well-being exercise sports and opportunities for practicing such sports. They know how to make apt choices when implementing/instructing such well-being activities, though some uncertainty may be apparent. The students strive to work in a customer-oriented manner.
