Objective

Students will be proficient in the theory and principles of game planning. They will be able to analyze games, produce game ideas, a game concept and initial game plan. Students will be proficient in the principles of prototyping and pitching.

The course contains lectures and workshops.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
The student has mastered the different stages of game design and can apply them in different work situations, working independently and in groups and demonstrating their proficiency in the knowledge base of the field and their ability to complete all the assignments as required.

Fail:
The student fails to meet the requirements to pass the course. Every deliverable coursework must be delivered before the deadline in acceptable condition. This means the coursework that falls significantly below quality standards may also be considered as failed. Additionally, participation in group work is mandatory for passing the course.
