Objective
The student:
Understands the organization, provision, and management of social and health care services, as well as the guidance and supervision of these services in Finland.
Comprehends the roles of different operational and service units as part of the care and service chain.
Is capable of working in evolving operational environments and can implement service guidance.
Recognizes their role in creating a positive customer service experience.
Is able to utilize electronic services as part of the comprehensive care of clients/patients.
Understands the responsibilities of themselves and other social and health care professionals, as well as the importance of controlled and flexible division of labor in delivering comprehensive care to clients/patients.

The course is based on Finnish laws and practices. The topics covered in the course determine the practical aspects of nursing. These topics are put into practice during practical training sessions under supervision.
Exam schedules
The date of the exam will be agreed upon later.
The exam will be conducted online on the Reppu platform. You have 90 minutes to answer the questions after starting the exam.
The exam can be retaken twice.

There are no optional ways to complete the course.
Student workload
The course is worth 4 credits = 108 hours
In addition to classroom teaching, the course includes independent study and group assignments.
