Objective

The students will be familiar with the different types of work within disability services.
They will know the basic principles of social rehabilitation and case management in services for the disabled.
They will understand the diversity of human life and and are able to work in support of equality and diversity in services for the disabled.
The students will understand the restrictive measures required by law and are aware of how to apply them with professionalism and respect for their clients.
They will know various alternative communication methods (basics) and the opportunities provided by digital services and their use in services for the disabled.

Content

Disability, disability Services legislation, autonomy, self-determination, diversity, accessibility and inclusion, disability policy and the values of work with the disabled, objectives and forms of work, methods that support communication, documentation, inclusion, social guidance, supported decision-making, the activities of disability stakeholder groups, medical care for the disabled
