Objective
The student is able to describe the risk factors of food safety and the operational guidelines defined in the legislation and the instructions of the Finnish Food Authority to ensure Finnish food safety.
Execution methods
The course's information session and test session are face-to-face teaching and remote participation is not possible. Possible retests are agreed with the teacher.
Accomplishment methods
The course includes an orientation information session and a test session. Passing the course requires participation in the information session and the test session on the day and time specified in advance, as well as independent study of the required contents. The course does not have an alternative method of completion.
Content
The content areas of the hygiene passport defined in the guidelines of the Finnish Food Authority.
Location and time
Opintojakson aloituskerta pidetään ke 17.9. 2025 klo 15.30-17.00, johon osallistuminen on edellytyksenä kurssille osallistumiselle.
Aloituskerralla kerrotaan hygieniapassin suoritukseen liittyvistä maksuista.
Materials
Opiskelumateriaalit esitellään Reppu-alustalla.
Teaching methods
Opintojakso koostuu kaikille pakollisesta aloituskerrasta, jolloin käydään läpi kurssin osaamisvaatimukset ja opiskelumateriaalit itsenäistä opiskelua varten. Kurssin lopuksi suoritetaan kirjallinen, luokkatilassa valvottu hygieniapassitesti.
Exam schedules
Hygieniapassitesti pidetään to 9.10.2025 klo 14-15. Testi suoritetaan valvotussa tilassa (ei etätenttimahdollisuutta). Mahdollisesti tarvittava uusintatenttiajankohta ilmoitetaan myöhemmin.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed: The student has participated in the information session and passed the hygiene passport test.

Hygieniapassi hyväksiluetaan ainostaan silloin, jos testin suorittamisesta on aikaa korkeintaan 10 vuotta ja lisäksi osaamisen ajantasaisuus on kuvattu ahot-menettelyllä.
