Objective
The student is able to describe the risk factors of food safety and the operational guidelines defined in the legislation and the instructions of the Finnish Food Authority to ensure food safety.

The content areas of the hygiene passport defined in the guidelines of the Finnish Food Authority.
Location and time
The start session is on Tuesday 4th of April 2024, at 5 -6.30 p.m.
Materials
The study material is in Reppu-moodle.
Teaching methods
Contact lessons and independent study. The start session of the study course and written test session are held as face-to-face teaching, The contents of the course are studied independently.
Exam schedules
Written test is on Monday 29th of April 2024, at 3-4 p.m.
The retake date will be announced later.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student has participated in the start session and received at least 34 points in the written test.
Further information
Completion of the study course requires personal participation in the start session and the test session. The course cannot be completed remotely.

Execution methods
The course's information session and test session are face-to-face teaching and remote participation is not possible. Possible retests are agreed with the teacher.
Accomplishment methods
The course includes an orientation information session and a test session. Passing the course requires participation in the information session and the test session on the day and time specified in advance, as well as independent study of the required contents. The course does not have an alternative method of completion.
