Objective

The student can describe accommodation, meeting and congress activities in Finland and abroad. He/she understands the hospitality, meetings and congress business from the perspective of responsible, sustainable development and profitable business. The student understands the internal and external environment of the hospitality, meetings and congress industry. They can interpret key hospitality industry metrics and statistics, as well as the hotel's general reservation and cancellation policies. The student will be able to perform the main tasks of a hospitality business.

The student can comprehensively describe and analyze accommodation, meeting, and congress operations in Finland and globally, applying the acquired knowledge. They understand accommodation, meeting, and congress operations from the perspectives of responsibility, sustainable development, and profitable business. The student comprehends the internal and external operational environments of accommodation, meeting, and congress activities. They can interpret key metrics and statistics related to accommodation business and understand the general reservation and cancellation terms of hotels. The student is familiar with the key tasks in accommodation operations.

The student can describe accommodation, meeting, and congress operations in Finland and globally. They recognize the responsible, sustainable development, and profitable business perspectives of accommodation, meeting, and congress operations. The student identifies the internal and external operational environments of accommodation, meeting, and congress activities. They can interpret key metrics and statistics related to accommodation business and understand the general reservation and cancellation terms of hotels. The student is familiar with the key tasks in accommodation operations.
