Objective

Students will be proficient in the basic principles of 3D Character modelling for games.

Content

Modeling, sculpting, unwrapping and texturing a humanoid character
Skinning and rigging in 3D package
Overview of character modeling workflow and pipelines.

Location and time

Weekly lectures between weeks 3 to 21 as contact studies
Attendance required on feedback session on week 21
Otherwise attendance requirement is 0%

Practice tasks and assignments
Student designs and does a hand-in assignment that showcases student has understood and learned the courses competences
