The students know how to analyse, compare, combine and select information and can present alternative procedures. They are able to work independently, responsibly, with initiative and flexibly in every type of learning and operational environment. The students are proficient in selecting and critically assessing the techniques and models of public health nursing. They can work as part of a team promoting and developing the team's work.

The students are able to select appropriate procedures based on acquired knowledge and guidance. They are able to reflect upon and assess their own abilities and the practices of public health nursing. They can apply public health nursing practices as required. The students can work as members of teams to achieve the team's common goals. They can also justify their actions according to professional ethical principles.

The students are able to work in an appropriate manner though a certain amount of uncertainty is apparent. The students are able to work under supervision in different learning and operational environments using public health nursing practices as required.
